WW2 Burma in 1/32nd scale

Phil bought many of us back to early youth by painting some Airfix 1/32nd scale plastic figures for the Far East campaigns on WW2 which included the Australians, Japanese and Gurkhas

Phil created a set of rules for this which involved moving the figures between irregular rectangles. The type of terrain was only know when moving in it unless defending when the player was aware of the surrounding terrain. Combat / firing was pretty straight forward, each base having a firing ability which was downgraded as it took hits. The rules also allowed the Japanese to “Banzai charge” when worn down! we have a good fun day although the Japanese were probably rated a little too highly in the rules.
